Still some kinks
"I have been to over 10 Sons of Legion concerts all over the US. The sound is there but I feel like this orchestra didn’t get the Sons of Legion feel. Every time Sons of Legion puts on an amazing show! I felt like the balance in sound was way off. The idea of String Theory is AMAZING. They were rushing it at times. One of the things Sons of Legion is known for is their impeccable harmonies, and the strings and other instruments were way too loud to enjoy the details of their artistry. Either way, the effort was there and as always they still put on an amazing show! Most of the time the guys will interact with the audience a lot more. I think if they had the chance to use the same orchestra every concert, they would really be able to nail the feel and the balance. I’m not sure how long each orchestra has to prepare for the concert but I think this is a little bit of a miss as well. This concert missed the mark a little. It was almost as if they were in a bad mood but that could have been just the way they were trying to make the show. And again, not sure if it was their regular sound guy but the balance was way off. I will definitely continue to go to Sons of Legion concerts in the years to come!"
